Intra Department Talent Hunt Organized By SGI for Freshers

Waves of excitement and enthusiasm had engulfed the students of Samalkha Group of Institutions who left no stone unturned to make the event a grand success. Samalkha Group of Institutions organized an intra department Talent Hunt contest for the fresher students on 05th September 2014. Students showcased their inherent talents in categories of music, mimicry and public speaking. Dilawar Kamran (Student, BBA) won the first prize. He tribute to his mother by singing a song “MERI MAA”. He got a good round of applause for his performance. For Singing,  Vedang (Student, BBA), Mayank (Student, MBA) won the 2nd and 3rd position and consolation prize was given to Himanshu (Student BBA).
Udhay from BBA won first prize in Mimicry contest. In Public Speaking,  Akshit (Student, MBA), Uday (Student, BBA) and Ritika (Student, MBA) won the 1st, 2nd & 3rd position.
Dr. Puja Waalia Mann, Dean Faculty of Management said "The Talent hunt contests provide a platform to students to exhibit their skills”. She congratulated the winners and said that “our students are multi-talented and we need to find out the hidden potential of the students”. The Hunt is organized every year to untangle the creative talent in the cultural activities of the young students. Certificates and Prizes were distributed to the winners of various events.

The Program was coordinated by Sapna (Student, MBA 2nd Year) under the valuable guidance of Dr. Puja Waalia  Mann (Dean, FOM).
