Industrial Visit to TDI CITY Kundli for Civil Engineering Students

Samalkha Group of Institutions organized a one day Industrial Visit for Civil Engineering 2nd year students on 16^th September 2014 in a renowned Civil Engineering Construction Company TDI CITY KUNDLI.

On behalf of TDI CITY, a warm welcome was accorded by the Civil Engineering Department. The Project Engineer (Mr. Sikender & Mr. Aditya) interacted with students giving them a brief profile of the company; its nature of the work progressing there. They briefed the students about job expected for Civil Engineering students in an industry and briefed them about procedure of training aspects, project schedule, various blocks under construction & departments within.

The students were taken around the whole TDI and explained the construction work, survey work, quality control, billing work & other aspects.

Mr. Gaurav (Coordinator, Civil) & Mr. Vikas (AP, Civil) & Ms. Saroj (Lab Technician, Civil) conducted the whole industrial visit said that it  was beneficial to the Civil Engineering Students to gain hands on experience,  in the major fields of Civil Engineering such as Construction, Survey, Foundations, Quality Control, Billing etc. Such exposure is an essential part of the teaching to professional civil students frequently apart from college curriculam, as it enhances the basic and practical knowledge of the student.

Finally, Memento was presented to the senior project engineer of TDI CITY KUNDLI.
