Educational tour to Manali-Rohtang Pass for B.Tech final Year Civil Students

Samalkha Group of Institutions organized a four day educational survey tour for its B.Tech final year civil students from 9th October 2014 (Thursday) to 12th October 2014 (Sunday) to Manali-Rohtang Pass.
Manali is a popular place for all seasons and for all tourists. 14 Students of Civil final year accomplished with two faculty members. The trip started with survey camp in the hilly areas of Manali. After that students visited the local sites such as Hadimba Temple, Ghatotkach Temple, Monastery, Manali Museum etc. In the evening, students rushed to the Mall road for shopping.
Next day students visited Rohtang pass and enjoyed the ride on sledge. Returning from Rohtang Pass to Manali, they also took pleasure of Paragliding. The Mountain ranges seen by the students from Rohtang Pass as light began to fade out of the horizon. On third day, the journey began for Kullu; students grab the opportunity of river rafting in Kullu. The students were very energized and came to know about many facts of survey and thanked the Civil Engineering Department & SGI management for organizing such survey camp during tour.
The trip was coordinated by Mr. Shashank Sharma (Coodinator, Civil) and Mr.Vikas Rohal (Lecturer, Civil) who successfully managed the students throughout the whole trip and students were very much thankful for their cooperation and adjustments. All in all it was a tremendous, unforgettable, pleasurable trip which gave excellent memories in everyone’s eyes and students wished to be there forever.
